2007/Career Statistics & Game Log

Bio: was regarded as one of the better third baseman in the game back with the Marlins before struggling mightily at the plate in 2005 and being traded to Boston with Josh Beckett. Won a Gold Glove in 2005 with the Marlins at the hot corner and deserved one for last season, but Eric Chavez won it instead because he's got the bigger name defensively at third. Mike's first year in Boston was good, smacking out 20 and knocking in 80.
2007 Projected Statistics: .280, 18, 75, 75, 30
Fantasy Outlook: last season I took him to play second because he was eligible there, but this season he's only able to play third base, therefore he probably won't find a starting job anywhere, but could find a spot as a backup on some teams. In American League only leagues he'd be a good pickup.
